The Heico Companies, L.L.C. (Heico) Receives WBE Canada Certification

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TORONTO, June 13, 2016 – Today, WBE Canada announced the certification of four Heico companies in Canada—Infasco Nut, LP, Ifastgroupe 2004, LP, Ivaco Rolling Mills 2004, LP, and Sivaco Wire Group 2004, LP.  Heico is a broadly diversified portfolio of 62 operating entities providing manufactured products and industrial and construction services to diverse end-markets and geographies.

“We are thrilled to have Heico demonstrate their commitment to supplier diversity through the certification of these four companies, and WBE Canada is honoured to have been chosen as the certifying council of choice,” said Mary Anderson, President of WBE Canada.

Certification benefits women-owned businesses looking to access procurement opportunities with leading companies, and provides leading businesses with access to a highly qualified, innovative and productive group of potential suppliers.  In fact, with the trend towards contract bundling in the US, over 80% of multinational corporations now require supplier diversity efforts from their tier-one and tier-two suppliers. They advertise this "spend" with diverse populations, and are taking their business practice global, setting new benchmarks for measuring and celebrating diversity in supply chain contracts they award.

“Heico has demonstrated their commitment to the principles of supplier diversity and to the development of women-owned business enterprises,” said Anderson.
