Lori joined Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) in 2016 to launch an exciting new initiative that brings together eleven federal organizations to help Canadian companies grow. The initiative, the Accelerated Growth Service (AGS), cuts across the Canadian scale-up ecosystem, bringing multiple programs and services - whether financing, export assistance, innovation services or business advice - directly to companies that are ready to grow and create new jobs.

Lori has over 20 years of experience as a public policy professional in the Government of Canada, including 7 years at Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) - the federal government's purchasing department - where she worked closely with and advocated on behalf of businesses interested in doing business with the Government of Canada.

Lori holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Carleton University. She is married to a member of the Canadian Forces and has two young daughters.
